Château de Robernier Wedding venue in Provence, between Cotignac and Montfort-sur-Argens

A sixteenth-century chateau with two round towers, set among its own hills, vineyards and centuries-old olive groves. It hosts only a handful of weddings a year, and for yours, the whole estate is yours alone.

A day at Robernier

From the ceremony to the morning after, one way the day might unfold. Every wedding writes its own.

  1. The ceremony

A ceremony in front of the chateau, beneath the wrought-iron arch

A religious service in the consecrated eighteenth-century chapel, or an outdoor ceremony in front of the chateau, beneath the plane trees of the courtyard: you choose where to say ‘I do’.

    Chapel, courtyard or gardens

  2. Drinks in the gardens

The formal French gardens, their paths and balustrades

The formal gardens step down towards the park between balustrades and stone urns, facing the vines. Guests wander, glass in hand: there is room for up to 1,000.

    Gardens, park and terraces

  3. Dinner

The lit avenue and red carpet on a wedding evening

As night falls, the avenue lights up and the chateau glows. Dinner is served in the courtyard beneath strings of lights and the stars, or in a marquee in the grounds for larger parties.

  4. Dancing

The courtyard on a party night, seen from above

The ballroom, with its Napoleon III crystal chandeliers and ornate walls, opens onto the courtyard. Dance inside or out, late into the night.

  5. A night at the chateau

A bedroom at the chateau: four-poster bed and damask-lined walls

No taxis, no late drive home: twelve bedrooms await your closest guests upstairs and in the towers, each with its own bathroom. The bridal suite is yours.

    12 bedrooms, sleeping 24

  6. Brunch

The swimming pool, overlooked by one of the towers

The next morning, everyone gathers by the pool for brunch and the stories from the night before.

Four centuries in one family

Built in the sixteenth century and extended in the eighteenth with a chapel, an orangery and a ballroom, Robernier stayed in the same family for four hundred years. Since 2006, a long restoration has brought back its original details and added every modern comfort.

The history of the chateau

Married here

“Expensive but unique. I got married at this chateau and didn’t hesitate for a second. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. If you’re a princess, this place is for you. Magical!”
