How many guests can the chateau hold?
Up to 300 guests for a seated dinner, and up to 1,000 for an outdoor drinks reception.
Is it exclusive use?
Yes. The chateau hosts only a few weddings a year and, for yours, nobody else is there.
Can we choose our own caterer?
Yes, you are free to choose. A fully equipped kitchen is available to your caterer on site.
Where can the ceremony take place?
The legal ceremony takes place at the town hall. At the chateau, religious ceremonies are held in the consecrated chapel, and celebrant-led ceremonies in the gardens or the courtyard.
Can guests stay overnight?
Yes: 12 bedrooms sleep 24, including the bridal suite. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. For your other guests, we can suggest places to stay in the nearby villages.
What if it rains?
Up to 300 guests can be hosted indoors, in the ballroom, the orangery and the drawing rooms, so there is a wet-weather option.
How much does a wedding cost?
The price depends on the season, the number of guests and how long you reserve the estate. Request our brochure and we’ll send you a tailored proposal.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can: the chateau hosts only a few weddings a year.
Can you help us plan the wedding?
Yes. We offer tailor-made planning and can recommend the local professionals the chateau regularly works with.
How do we get there?
The chateau lies between Cotignac and Montfort-sur-Argens, in the Var. Allow about 1 hr 10 from Marseille Provence Airport, 1 hr 25 from Nice and 1 hr from Toulon-Hyères.
Can we visit before booking?
Of course: write to us to arrange a time.
Do you welcome couples from abroad?
Yes. Your guests can fly into Marseille or Nice, within an hour and a half of the chateau, and your ceremony here can be symbolic if you are legally married at home.
